Store Hours

Belwood Country Market has operated in Belwood since May 2007. The market received the Customer Service Award from the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce in the first year it was open! Among the local faces, you’ll see Mike and Julie Woelfle slaving away to bring you amazing food and desserts. Julie is originally from Belwood and she and Mike moved back here to get away from the city life to raise their two daughters in our small community. Julie actually worked at the store years before they bought it and thought it would be fun to build a business to pass on to her kids. Julie has over 20 years in the restaurant business. 
 Mike trained at George Brown in culinary arts. He has worked and managed a multitude of restaurants. He has worked for more than 20 years in the restaurant/hospitality service industry. Mike and Julie have absolutely loved calling Belwood home. It is where everyone knows your name and the community is there for support. They wanted a community store that offered a family a place to do their shopping without having to make their trek into town. Belwood Country Market aims to be that little store by the lake where everyone knows your name.
